Vanilla Degus (Fabric) Mod for Minecraft 1.19.3, 1.19.2, 1.19.1 and 1.19, it will introduce a fantastic creature, known as the “singing rat” of the Andes, which has four variants.
They will be able to spawn naturally in the Desert, Savannah, or Wasteland biomes. Their behavior will be passive, and they will eat dead bushes or wild grass.
The links found on this page will require Fabric for their correct operation. Similarly, there is an exclusive version for Forge. Click here to get it.
Important: Vanilla Degus (Fabric) needs the «Fabric API» to work properly. That is, it will be necessary to download both mods to play. All of them should be placed in the “mods” folder.
The main objective of Vanilla Degus (Fabric) is to increase the variety of peaceful creatures in the game, adding a supposed Andean singing rat. In-game, they will be known as “Degus”, and will fit nicely into the default Minecraft experience.
Degus will take an interest in rabbits and cows, and will avoid interbreeding with wolves or wild cats. Players will be able to tame them by feeding them grass or dead bushes. Once tamed, they will receive a red collar, just like cats or wolves.
